Your image is optional. Choosing to include it has its pros and cons.

Ask yourself, does my image support the type of work and industry, I'm applying to?

• Does the image exist?

  • Note: If not used in your Portfolio, image should be consistent wherever you choose to use it e.g. LinkedIn, website, etc.

• Pros: It reinforces your brand identity. Good for companies that know you already or client facing roles/jobs.

• Cons: It could lead to biased application process. Keep out the company does not know of you or not relevant to the job.

Metadata

  • Clearly understood project name

• Project Summary

• Relevant Metadata was chosen and support

  • Was the Faculty member was a key contributor? If not, remove their name.

• Descriptions, captions, citations, etc. supports images/screenshots

Spelling and Grammar

• Are there spelling missssssstakes?

• Is there grammar mistakes?

Tone

• Is the tone of voice consistent throughout the portfolio?

• Is it written in active or passive voice?

• Does it sound like AI or a human being?

• Are there multiple projects?

  • How many? You pick. It's your Portfolio.
