Setup Account

  • [ ] Setup Open Weather account

  • [ ] Use FREE plan. Do NOT upgrade

  • [ ] Send email confirmation link

    • [ ] Check SPAM folder or quarantined email

  • [ ] Subscribe to Current Weather and forecast API

API Key

  • [ ] Locate your unique API key

Email Verification

  • Check for or resend email verification

  • If you do not see it in Inbox or Spam folder, you may need to release it from Outlook's Email Quarantine.

  1. Go tohttps://protection.office.com/quarantine

  2. Search for [email protected]

  3. Select all emails from Open Weather.

  4. Click "Release Messages", then go to Inbox.

  5. Find Open Weather confirmation email. Click "Verify your email".
